SalesNav ships with a free database structure that's good for up to around 20,000 clients. That's a huge savings over other high end Sales Force Apps. As your company grows, your data grows. There are an extensive set of archive tools to keep you from having to spend the money to upgrade your database. But when you're ready, it's a simple upgrade with no downtime. That's a good thing when your company has grown enough to make the switch. The point is SalesNav will start small and grow with you as large as you want. What we suggest though is Microsoft SQL. If you already own a Microsoft SQL database system, we can use it. We've installed Oracle, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, Postgres, and Btrieve on every type of station, remotely or on-site. We pioneered the multi-site distributed database back in 1983. This means you can run multi-sites and remote users with just an FTP site until you're ready for a high speed cloud, Citrix, Netop, Terminal Server, or other Remote Access Technologies.

  • I figured you'd like to know - SalesNav is not nearly as bad as I used to think it was. I've been using Salesforce.com now for over a month. When I found out that my new company was using Salesforce, I was really impressed because I knew how popular (and expensive) it was. Well, I gotta tell you, it is not that great. And to me it is not any better than SalesNavigator was (with the exception of reporting). Salesforce is just as complicated (maybe more) and is just as difficult to use (especially for logging short phone calls) as SalesNav ever was. And Salesforce has a million buttons, tabs and text boxes to sort through just to try and do what you want to do. It really looks like it was built for companies the size of HP and IBM and it does not scale down or simplify for smaller companies like ours. Hrumph!!!
